Macbook Pro Location Services on

Hi guys,

Do you know if any drawback on turning ON the Location Services on a MacBook Pro...

as you can see i am very new with it i still cannot find where the question marks are. I have a US MacBook Pro but i am using Spanish Language and keyboard as default. The “Show Keyboard Characters“ is not much help either.

Best,
S

With my keyboard set to Spanish, it shows Shift plus full stop (period) for question mark.

Don't really know about drawbacks from Location Services, but I'd imagine the usual suspects are reduced battery life and less privacy.

Thanks for the data on question marks on Spanish Keyboard. It seems i am doing something wrong because it does not appear right now. There is a whole bunch of Math symbols when i have the Option for key combinations. I will send a Print Screen later on to show it. Now the MacBook Pro is turned off and waiting for a full discharge of batteries to make the very first Full Battery Charge supposedly like Apple manual says so.

Thanks for the idea on Location Services as well.

Best,
S

There is also a Spanish ISO keyboard, where the question mark is above the P, but in either case, you do not use the Option key, just the Shift.
