free slideshow/presentation app for 10.5

Im looking for a free app for slideshow/presentations. my cd drive broke so iphoto is out of question.. im looking for a downloadable app.

I sometimes use JPEGDeux for this. It's pretty basic but works well and is free.

I downloaded and tried installing. I get alert saying disc image may be damaged and may damage your system. So I didn't open.

I get the same message, but the app looks OK.
I think it's safe to simply click the Open on that app.

Surely you can view a succession of pages in Preview?

I tried that but it toggles through the pictures to fast. Is there a way to set the rate?

Just set it to Single Page View, Zoom to Fit, and press Page down or the Down arrow to move to each new page.
