Exactly what is not working - i.e. what specifically are the symptoms?
Have you checked in the Settings that you have location services enabled for the apps you are using?

Location service
Yes, I have checked everything - and have gone over this with the Apple techs, also have checked everything with my internet provider....all my home wifi is good.....the strange thing is that I can go to an open wifi in town and the loc-svc works fine..(same provider)..the old iPad worked fine before ... ???? I have the same problem with other iOS 6 devices in my home.

sorry...the only thing not working are the location services, and I have selected Location Services On under the Privacy Setting. None of the apps that ask for my location can find my location, and they are turned on under Location Services. I did not have this problem with my iPad (1) using iOS 5...

First check the suggestions in this Apple document:
http://support.apple.com/kb/HT5467 then maybe try those in the following: http://sarayoo.info/iphone-tips/item...e-or-ipad.html

Other iOS devices also don't have location services in your home?
If you can go to another wifi location, and your Location Services then work properly - - Maybe there's some problem with the configuration of the wireless router in your home? |

Locations Services
Thanks to you both....I also feel that it has to be a problem with the router -
I have had the router checked and reset by a local computer tech dept as well, but still no success...I will try a router from their shop that does work with my iPad...more later.. |

Have you tried shutting down the device, waiting a minute and then starting it back up? In my original iPhone this would occasionally be necessary when the Maps app would stop finding my location, but it always resolved the issue.

The latest on my quest for Location Services in my new iPads is good news, I guess.... It is NOT the iPads or the router. I took my Router (Dlink DIR-615) to the service center at London Drug and had them connect MY router to their modem (same Int Provider) and my iPad had Location Service immediately...now on to the the Shaw Modem...???
(NaOH- thanx for the suggestion, and I had done that several times) |

Well, this is not getting any better. I went to Shaw and exchanged my Motorola Modem for a new one, and there has been no change to my Location Service...Shaw tells me that my incoming signal strength is very good so there is nothing they can do...it appears that Apples "Croud-Sourced Wi-Fi" does not work in all locations. I will have another go with Apple, but it looks like these new iOS6 devices just will not work in my home....very frustrating as my previous iPad (iOS5) worked fine.

That was going to be my guess; Apple just doesn't know where your router is. If you have an iPhone or an iPad with cellular service (means it also includes a GPS chip), Apple can correlate your GPS location with your router information. You may also need to have iOS set to share diagnostic information with Apple.

Thanks for that, I did just check and do have "Automatically Send" selected....under General - About - Diagnostic & Usage...
Also of note, under General - Date & Time, Auto set will not work....just keeps searching... |

Just talked again with Apple, they are unable to offer any further suggestions.
