2 wifi cards connection at the same time

Hi,
I have two usb wifi adapter, Does anyone know if it is possible to have 3 internet connections at the same time?

It's possible, but one connection will be the primary connection. There's no way to determine which one gets used for any particular internet request.

And no, 3 internet connections doesn't make things 3 times faster.

It's the one the default gateway points to. As most connections use DHCP it's most likely the last connection that was initiated (as that would overwrite the default gateway from the previous connections).

A setup like this is really only useful for high availability (backup lines to activate when the primary is unavailable), as acme.mail.order noted it won't make your internet 3 times as fast.

Oh, almost forgot. You could use link aggravation but I have no idea how to do that on OS-X. That would combine the bandwidth of the connections. However a single session would still be limited to the maximum speed of one of the connections. And you also need to realize it's only the connection to your router that will have the added bandwidth, your internet uplink would still be the limiting factor.

I'm hoping that SirDice actually means "link aggregation" - although "aggravation" can be one result, too

Hehehe... Ooops.. It should indeed be link aggregation. But you can get quite aggravated trying to get it to work
