Firefox & Safari Will Not Open Ebay or Amazon

OSX 10.5.6, Safari 3.2.1

Safari Will Not Open Ebay or Amazon

Ran into this problem before, something to do with the certificate or keychain and cant remember how the problem was fixed...! Tried repairing permissions, deleting Safari .plist, Took Safari and preferences etc from another HD, problem still existed

Anyway

Trying to open eBay from a saved address

http://my.ebay.co.uk/ws/eBayISAPI.dll?MyEbayBeta&tagId=-100&CurrentPage=MyeBayNextListIndex&ssPageName=STRK:ME:LNLK:MESINDXX

Safari tries to access

https://signin.ebay.co.uk/ws/eBayISAPI.dll?SignIn&UsingSSL=1&pUserId=&co_partnerId=2&siteid=3&ru=http%3A%2F%2Fmy.ebay.co.uk%2Fws%2FeBayISAPI.dll%3FMy EbayBeta%26%26tagId%3D-100%26CurrentPage%3DMyeBayNextListIndex%26ssPageName%3DSTRK%253AME%253ALNLK%253AMESINDXX%26guest%3D1&pageType=3984

The problem arose quite quickly earlier this evening...

I may be wrong, but...
I don't think the web site(s) keep static, indexed pages. ie, I think the URL you are trying to get to no longer exists.

I don't know how you work that out..

Opening the first link work on my other Mac and what is more strange, the address should not change. The only similar situation is if the mac battery is flat and the date and time is set to 1970, producing a similar situation.

Other than that...I just don't think the address's should change

Weird:

Everything seems to work. Pages load and previously pages did not load..

I did notice in Safari activity monitor, items not loading were .png .gif and .js
