Safari mailto: links
When I double-click an email link on a web page in Safari 6.0.2 running in Mountain Lion, it opens gMail in Safari even though that is not my default email program. I would prefer it to open Mail. Has that possibility been sandboxed? I can't find any way to set it.

Mail is what opens for me. I know there are third-party applications which can make Gmail on the web the default email client, but I would think that would be listed in Mail > Preferences > General. I'd double check that setting and look for any applications you may have installed. Unless specially crafted links are possible, though I've never heard of that.

Aha -- I found it. I use Mailplane for gMail and Mail for both of my POP accounts rather than configure Mail to use gMail. I back up gMail to my own machine using Cloudpull. There was an Advanced Mailplane setting that needed unchecking.
