Chrome but not Safari

Does anyone know why this page works in Chrome but not Safari?

Works fine for me in Safari. Rather dark, but then it's 11:34 PM in Thailand, so it would be. I get the ads above and below and the timestamp in a white strip.

I don't get a camera image, nor a video "box", but I don't know if that's because it's outside the hours that the camera is active.

12 hour difference from EST. It's 2:37 AM as I write this at 3:37 PM in Halifax (Atlantic time zone).

In Safari I just get the title "Korat Kam Streaming Live" immediately followed by the paragraph which begins "This image is streamed...."

There's no box for the streaming video at all.

It used to work in Safari, so obviously I've done something to stop it. No idea what.

There should be an image, albeit a bit dark, even at night time.

OK. Finally got my hands on my wife's MacBook Air. She has a pretty pristine system: no PlugIns or Extensions.

Same result: Works on Chrome but not Safari.

We're both running Safari 6.0.2 and OSX 10.8.2.

Mystery unsolved.

BTW. I now have removed the custom code, so all that's out there is the EvoCam default web page:

Code:
<html>

<head>
<title>EvoCam</title>
</head>

<body bgcolor="e3e3e3">
<center>
<img src="video.cgi">
</center>
</body>

</html>

Well, here's a clue - if I load the link you posted above in Safari, I see no image (or anything else). But if I load the following link:
http://korat.dyndns.tv:8080/video.cgi
I do see the image

I just saw a man walk through the picture, watering plants?
Was that you?

It appears to work very well for mel from the US, with Safari - even with your original link.

Yes, that was me doing my usual Saturday morning fertilizing rounds of the orchids. Sorry, I haven't yet combed my hair!

I discovered that as well. But, using that link, the image doesn't stream for me, I get just one still image.

And, I cannot locate that file (video.cgi).

The webcam software I'm using is EvoCam. It has a built in web server, the root of which is here:

/Applications/EvoCam3.app/Contents/Resources

But, nowhere in that directory (or anywhere else on my machine) do I find a file called video.cgi.

I guess this is an unsolvable mystery.

I'm going to go ahead and put password protection back on the streaming server. If anyone is still interested, PM me and I'll give you the username and password.

Interesting that the Google and Bing bots seem to have no trouble with it, but Yahoo seems to be bamboozled:

Code:
b3090964.crawl.yahoo.net - koratkam [09/Feb/2013:15:37:49 +0700] "GET /robots.txt HTTP/1.0" 404 550
