Rebound to previously opened or saved file (or folder)
Is there a built-in preference, setting or capability in Mac OS X (10.2.4) to rebound to previously opened or saved file (or folder)?

Nope, AFAIK you'll only get that ability in certain applications, not via the OS.
Clarification: I read your question as meaning, "Is there a 'revert' function built-in to the OS". Is that what you meant?

Revert? no
Rebound is different than revert. I think the term originated with the old Boomerang utility, which was then incorporated into Now Utilities. Rebound is when you open or save a file, the dialog navigates by default to the last place you opened or saved a file using that application. |

Try Default Folder from St. Clair software. I think it does what you want: http://www.stclairsw.com/ |
