I haven't noticed much difference. The one site it didn't open for me before is still not working. Guess I have to keep Moz. for that one site still.

Enable the Debug menu; set user agent to MSIE 6.0. I bet it will work |

You can't run either version of safari? Have you deleted all the plists, caches, and all that good stuff? |

I deleted all that stuff and reinstalled the new Safari and it still crashes. Seems to only crash on sites using JAVA. I'm sure apple will fix it.

Re: windows
How'd you get it to do that? Mine still tiles the new window slightly off the screen to the right, hiding the scroll bar. |

* Quit Safari if it is open * Open the Terminal * Type "defaults write com.apple.Safari IncludeDebugMenu 1" (no quotes; all one line) * Re-launch Safari |

tiling
miklb:
Hmm... that could be something related to it "remembering" an old window position. Mine tiles to the edge of the screen (right), and then jumps back to the far left and starts from there. Try opening a new window (such that it goes off screen), clicking the resize/green button, then scaling the window a bit smaller manually from the lower-right corner drag-thing. Does this help at all? -Jesse |

Re: tiling
Absolutely!! I've tried every combination of ways (except that one) to get the window to not tile off the screen. Granted, I hadn't tried them under the new build, but voila! it isn't doing it now. Thank you. It was beggining to be frustrating. |
