Address auto-complete weirdness in mail.app!

Hey,

Often when I type in the first few letters of an email address, mail.app offers several auto-complete options that are not in my Address Book, and sometimes these are addresses that I simply do not recognize at all.

Might these be addresses that are retained from emails that have been forwarded to me?

If so, can I get rid of them?

thanks.

PS: I am running 10.2.3, though I haven't updated my profile.

I believe it is supposed to auto fill the most oftem used addresses. I did find three knowledge base articles which may or may not help you but they are related to this. I will let you be the judge of that...
