Exclamation Problem in mounting DMG file!! HELP !!

Can anyone help me to try mounting a DMG file, I've asked everywhere but I'm keep having difficulties in trying to mount DMG under Disc Copy in OS X 10.1.2, some files are ok, but other just return a error message "Software license agreement was declined." I don't know what to do.

Thanks

Can you give a specific example of the DMG you are trying to mount? Which application? Sounds like it's putting up a license agreement that you're not clicking "OK" on ... Mozilla comes to mind as one that displays the license dialog before mounting the image; you just need to click "OK" in the dialog and it should mount properly.

Unhappy DMG Trouble

The DMG I'm trying to mount is ASM2.0.2 that's Application switcher menu. The software I'm using is Disc Copy in Mac OS X, no there's no license agreement button or anything. I mean is there license agreement in Disc Copy image? What's strange is some DMG's is OK but other are not.

I guess maybe I just have to wait for the next OS update. But I'm dying to try ASM, as I really miss the App switching menu.

Thanks

I just tested ASM, and here's what happens.

1) Download from the ASM site, get "asm2.0.2.dmg" file on the desktop.

2) Double-click the file from step 1. DiskCopy launches.

3) DiskCopy displays a "Software License Agreement", and I click the "Agree" button.

4) The disk image mounts on the desktop.

That's all there is to it; you should be seeing a big window with "Agree" and "Disagree" (and a couple of other) buttons; if you just click Agree, the image will mount. No OS X update required.

Nope

Sorry but as soon as I click on it, it doesn't give me a chance to Click anything, it just says "Software license agreement was declined.". So I guess I assumed it has show me the dialogue and I click Disagree, but this clearly wasn't the case. And I've never seen a software license agreement on a Disc Copy image before, Si guess I just can't mount anything with Software license agreement.

Hmm, this is very strange since my copy os OS X is pretty new, and I haven't fiddle with any critical system components, well at least I don't think I have.

Thanks again

Smile Yippi

Thanks for the help, good news is I managed to fix the problem by Reinstalling Disk Copy, I didn't have to go through the whole installing process, I managed to find a Program called Pacifist which allows you to extract just the file you need.

I think I was probably the course of the problem. I found out one of the resources was missing!

Thanks again

Joe

ASM is great, and pacifist too.

Whew! Glad you got it working. That was a tricky one to figure out, since it seemed you were doing everything right...
