I have an imac g5 that I bought in January 2005. When I first got it, I had a a problem with a bad power supply - fortunately it was under warranty so that was all ok. However, in the last couple weeks my computer has been randomly shutting down. It usually happens about 10 minutes after I start it up, but then when I restart, it'll stay on for a long time (a couple days without problems, even). Internal temp is not abnormal, and it seems to have a schedule of when it'll shut down. Anyone know anything about this? Any help would be great. Thanks!

I first start with an SMU Reset.

Find this button and press it ONCE.

Otherwise, use the iMac Troubleshooting Assistant
