Hi all,
Does anyone know of a good low-level disk editor? I use Disk Editor X (part of Norton Utilities) which is pretty solid, except that every time there's a system upgrade, it stops working. HexEdit and HexEditor are good (I prefer the latter), but they don't allow me to browse/edit the directory tree. So I'm wondering if anyone else can recommend something. - tonyboy |

Any disk editor your going to find is going to break the same way Disk Editor X does with system updates for the very same reasons. If you're really intent on learning the ins and outs of raw drive data, you might look into PLScsi, the basis of many open source drive utilities.
