Hows it going lads? I'm just messing around with Mac here trying out new stuff...
The last one was changing the startup screen to whatever i want, which was pretty cool. I saw it in a previous thread. I remember in os 10.2 you could change the desktop to any movie you had saved, via the terminal. Not sure how to do it now though! Anyone with some cool ideas of winding the mac up a little? -Without destroying my baby of course.... TKS Steve. |

I know there are haxies that enable you to have screensavers as desktops, and today I used iBrowser to set an updating news site as my desktop. Worked great!
Is that the sort of thing you mean? And yeah, MacSteve, watch the 'tude. |

No Hangover!!
That was a fairly good site to let loose..........!
I'm not sure where this came from but it looks funny... " mr Steve, if you are going to repeat yourself, at least fix your typos. It is his computer, he is free to do as he wishes. In the interest of actually answering the question - create an account, and then log in and perform some tasks. Try to do the things you would and would not want your friend to do. Adjust accordingly. Common sense asks, if you feel the need to restrict his access, do you want to give it to him in the first place?" Any comments welcome. |
