Auto new window in Mozilla

In Firebird and Thenderbird, can i make it so that if i close the last browser window and then click on the app icon it the dock, it opens a new browser window or mailbox window? Safari and other appps can do this, can the Moz apps? It's not a big deal, but it somewhat of a nuiscence.

Mozilla opens a new window for me.

Is this a problem you are having or just a question to see if Mozilla acts as you inquired?

That would be Mozilla 1.6

Open Mozilla, close all windows, click on the Mozila icon in the dock, opens a new window.

I was having the same problem. You're talking about firebird 0.7 right? Well, i have a solution: the nightly builds. I am currently running firebird 0.8+, it's still just as fast, but much looks like safari and includes some more features...get it here

http://ftp.mozilla.org/pub/mozilla.o...ebird/nightly/

Hope this helps, i know how annoying clicking the dock icon and NOT getting a new browser window is :-)

Well huck, i was using 0.8+ but i switched back to Safari. Firebird takes forever to load and they're so close in speed that safari won me over.

What do you mean you didn't have much luck with them? They didn't run?
