this page from the September issue of PC world suggests not, although i've heard rumours that AOL are trying to add video to AOL IM. dD

It's a reasonable question, but there's no reasonable answer right now. Yahoo Instant Messenger will give you video between Mac and Windows, but no sound. MSN Messenger does video but only for Windows.

AOL seems to be working on extending iChat AV to Windows:

I suspect that once AOL gets their Mac and Windows video chat network going then MSN and Yahoo will follow their lead.
