IE 5.2.3 vs PDFs, round 1

So ever since I updated IE to 5.2.3, even though I hardly use it, I'm unable to view PDFs within it. I've been using the PDF-Plugin 1.2 that works on every other browser just fine, but since I upated it, jack snot happens with IE. This wouldn't concern me that much, but since there's a problem with something on my system, and I don't like problems, I'm trying to fix it. It figures it's a Microsoft app that's messing up when everything else is working. Any ideas on this?

Have you tried re-installing the plugin?
