OS 9 problem

Doubled posted in Applications

Some of my children's games don't work in classic mode and only seem to work if I boot into OS 9. I am ok with that.

What I need to know is what did I do to mess up OS 9. If I try to boot into 9 I get the dreaded flashing question mark [?].

This was of particular importance several weeks ago when I was temporality unable to get back in to X to change the startup boot drive. (couldn't find my OS 9 CD)

Try booting from OS X cd and the only choice I had was to install..... Didn't want to feel that pain.

btw I am running 10.2.6. Did one of the updates disable booting directly into OS 9?
