Fink: how to change the configure options?
I have successfully installed Pure-ftpd with Fink. My problem is that Fink doesn't compile it with the --with-virtualchroot option that I need.
How can I get it to compile with this option? Thanks, Ellen |

Yes, I know I can do that. But since I decided to use Fink, and this was the first program I installed with it, I would prefer to go all the way.
If it's impossible or too complicated to get Fink to compile with specific options I will certainly "do it myself". But I will be disappointed. Oh, yes, by the way, gatorparrots, it was your post that decided me to use Pure-ftpd and it does seem to be exactly what I need. So thanks! Ellen |

Ellen,
Haven't tried myself with Fink Pure-ftpd package, but you could try to add the line you need "-with-virtualchroot" to the package .info file and then run: 'fink rebuild packagename' Maybe it works... |

Yes it does. Very simple. Thanks. And it does exactly what I need. Now on to the next install : Postfix. I'll be back :-) Ellen |
