Jaguar Safari History - Can it be extended?

I've noticed that Safari's history is only about 1 week long. Is there a way to make it longer?

I'm going to have to ask the same question.

I'll also ask: Is this hint located on the main site safe or not?
"It's infinitely safer to do it this way (especially if Apple decides to change plist formats, hint, hint, hint):

defaults write com.apple.Safari WebKitHistoryItemLimit 9999
defaults write com.apple.Safari WebKitHistoryAgeInDaysLimit 365"

I know that some apps like Cocktail and Tiger Cache Cleaner will let you adjust the limit, but I want to know how to do it from the command line. Keep in mind that I'm using Tiger.
