griffman MVP Join Date: Dec 2001 Location: Portland, OR Posts: 1,471	Track "zero" recent items? A reader asked if I knew of any way to make the OS not remember any recent applications or documents. The lowest limit in the prefs is five, and I tried editing: com.apple.recentitems.plist in ~/Library/Preferences and inserting "0", but this setting was not respected -- as soon as I launched an app, it was added to the Apple menu's list. Any thoughts? -rob.
