Problems with Adium...

Ok i like adium, in fact i would use it if it worked more...

Most of the time i can't retrieve buddies info.

How do you view away messages?

How do you take off the timestamp?

Can you change the font color of the display names of the people chatting? I don't think that made sense, but for exmaple like my screen name is MBH0ckey so my message would say MBH0ckey: message here
can i change the actual color of the "MBH0ckey" preceding my message

And you have to pick Adiums sounds for the events? You can't browse your HD for your own sounds?

I knwo that was a ton of questions but i really like adium and want it to work!! So if anyone could shed some light on any of those problems, it would be greatly appreciated.
