Mounting NFS drive without showing on Desktop

I am mounting an NFS share via /etc/fstab. I have the Finder setting enabled to show network drives on the desktop and this causes the NFS share to show up on the desktop. I have some network drives I would like to be shown on the desktop but I would like the NFS share to not be shown. Is there a mount option or something else I can add so that this share does not show on the desktop?

I know that autofs has the "hidefromfinder" option (or similar to that) but this option seems to be absent when using fstab. I don't want to use autofs for this particular case though.
