iTunes 11.0.1

I can't express how pleased I'll be when Apple quits frigging around with iTunes. 11.0.1 is full of minor changes that differ from your expectations.

Amen, brother. IMHO, every new release just makes things worse.

It's an inevitable consequence of feature bloat. In my view, iTunes is rapidly heading the way of Microsoft Word, and since Apple insists on exclusivity of access for iTunes, there is no competition for it.

I think it has been there for a while.

I wrote a text book on Word 5 and found it easy to work with. Then came 6 which was an abomination. My son gave me a (legal) copy of Office 8, but I've never mastered it and don't use it. I'm hoping against hope that iTunes is not headed for feature horror.

The best version of Word ever was v.4.x. It went down hill fast after that.

I agree entirely. Microsoft has steadily spoiled what was a dynamite program.
