Lion: Disable shutdown warning while sharing
Hi All,
Has anybody come across a preference/plist that can disable the shutdown warning when a user is connected to Mac OS X 10.7.4 Client that has another client connected to it's shared folder? I have a Mac Mini sharing a bunch of folders that has a shutdown/startup schedule set. I don't care if the clients loose this connection when this happens. However the Mac Mini never shuts down as a warning is presented saying that clients are connected. Thanks in Advance. |

Two things come to mind:
Do shutdown via the Terminal rather than System Preferences. That way the Finder isn't asked if it wants to quit (it's told, in rather concrete terms, to quit and not complain about it) Leave the Mini on. It's not like it consumes a lot of power when it's idle. |

That's definitely an option, I could run a launchd item than handles the shutdown rather than the energy saver option.
Cheers! |
