Lan to Wireless

How I convert my Internet Lan Connection to Wifi, and also want to know that how I secure my wireless connection from others?

You don't tell us much about your current LAN connection but assuming you have a router or that your connection modem is a router, you need a Wi-Fi router connected to your connection modem and all connections wired or wireless thereafter made through the wireless router (all of which have wired connections as well).

If you buy a wireless router you can get one that has security already enabled. A friend of mine bought one for 50 bucks at Walmart. On the bottom of the router there was a sticker with the preset station ID and a password containing random numbers and letters. Was finished in minutes. It just plugged from his cable modem wih a supplied cable.
