Mountain Lion Developer ISO
I've downloaded an ISO of ML developer. I have a G5 with four drives with my OS (Lion) om the main drive and just data on the other three. Can I install the MLD on one of the other non OS drives and boot of either one?

That would mean it's not a legal copy of Mountain Lion. Expect a moderator to kill this thread since the Forums explicitly prohibit discussions and assistance which violate things like software terms of service. If you'd like access to pre-release Mac software, sign up for the company's developer program ($99 per year). |

Seeing as the G5 can't even run Snow Leopard, you won't be able to run ML on it either.
Either you misspoke when you wrote G5, or it's a different OS than Lion on there now. Other thoughts: Someone with this level of understanding of their hardware and software doesn't have any reason to be running a developer preview of an OS. You probably don't even have the right to be running this OS as I doubt you're part of one of Apple's developer programs that would grant you access to this software. |
