Question Backup Solution Needed

I need to backup at least 6TB of data to a single location. I can't deal with separate external drives anymore, it's getting to confusing. I am actively using more than half a dozen hard drives as it is, at least the backup should be centralized. Also, I would like to use TimeMachine, which can only deal with one destination.

What would be a good solution for me? The only one I have come up with so far is a RAID box with 4 x 3TB drives in it, setup as RAID 10. What I am unsure about is how safe that is. I know that RAID 5 is not useful for disks of that size, since unrecoverable read errors are so likely that when a single drive fails another is bound to have one and the whole RAID goes down. Is RAID 10 safer with regard to UREs?
