No educational discount...
Interesting that Apple are pushing to get iPads into the classroon, yet they are not in included in the Educational discount programme.
Just a thought..

iPads don't have a discount for single sales.
The discount comes in when purchasing multipacks. iPads are sold in 10-packs, I think. $20 or so off on each iPad At least - in the US... |

Schools are going to buy iPads through a bulk order negotiated with Apple's education sales department, they aren't gonig to buy them from store.apple.com.

You wait until you have to try and manage 100s of iPads with no VPP (Volume Purchase Programme) for Apps MacApps etc. in SMB/SME It is so hard...The AppleID system/restrictions has fundamental flaws as it was not made for task and causes huge headaches. I am there ! I know !
We get small discounts on orders usually in the 5%-15% in business. Not working in EDU so cannot comment on that side. |
