Sending SMS Via BT Yahoo Email

I've read SMS messages can be sent using the Yahoo email client. Anyone managed to successfully send an SMS using the browser client?

Sending an SMS (or, really, an MMS when doing this) using email is simply a matter of knowing the recipient's service provider. As an example, sending to someone using AT&T would look like this:

0123456789@mms.att.net

There is a Wikipedia entry listing the SMS gateway addresses for many cellular providers throughout the world.
