Internet Radio on iPod Touch

My partner loves listening to music on iTunes Radio on her iMac. She wants to know why she can't do it on her iPod Touch. There's no Radio service on Tunes on the iPod. Services like Jamendo allow streaming but they use Flash.
About the only way I can think of is via VNC, which is a bit clunky.

Ideas? The only radio apps I've found are for head units in cars.

Try Tunein Radio (my favorite) or Pocket Tunes (also good). I listen to both talk and music for hours every day, and Tunein Radio is terrific.

Thanks for that.
Pandora wasn't quite what I was after but TuneIn Radio fits the bill.
Thanks again.

I would advise you to install flash and enjoy jamendo. Nothing can be compared with Jamendo.

There's no flash on an iPod Touch.

hi.
Many people believed that the iPod and iTunes—as the embodiment of easy, instant access to music of your choice—meant the death of radio, which was developed to play music selected for you by other people. Yet although traditional radio has indeed suffered over the past five years, it has also evolved: satellite radio, digital terrestrial radio, and Internet radio have all popped up to offer greater choice and higher quality.

If you copy text from another site, it's only fair to make mention of the source for that text
http://www.ilounge.com/index.php/art...omments/15017/
That page, although several years old, is still relevant for use of radio on an iPod/iPhone.

I think you'd need to download an app... I use TuneIn Radio. Very good application indeed, costs about 1.19 I think though. Runs audio in the background now as part of iOS4

Maybe you could make it less obvious when you copy some else's post?

Why not just say that you agree with using TuneIn Radio - rather than copying another post, without attributing the source?

That would appear to be much (all?) of what mrjones19 does.

This comment is copy/pasted from here.

This one is also from the Apple discussion forms.

And this one is from iPhone Forums.

I'm sure further checking would show more of the same behavior.
