Sending a Fax in Lion iMac not receiving

I purchased one of the USB modems that will work with Lion iMac.

Everything appears to operate, however, recently I sent PDF scanned faxes to my accountant's fax number and he says he did not receive the faxes.

I show two completed fax packages in the job info fax log.

So I am wondering how do you verify a fax actually did get sent.

When you are sending you can click on the log item and it shows the fax however, after the fax is sent you can not open it from the log file.

What is going on with USB Modem Driver 1.0

I wish someone would offer some fax software for Lion.

Faxes are still an important piece of business.

If it shows completed in the fax log, it was sent. Unlike email, where messages are stored and forwarded in intermediaries perhaps days later, fax is a direct connection from your machine to the destination machine.

Did you check that you used the correct fax number for your accountant? Maybe you sent the fax to some poor bloke who's cursing you for dumping all this junk on his fax machine.
