Flash Player to support embedded video on PowerPC Mac
Hello
I'm interested in making Flash Player's latest version work on my Mac mini with PowerPC. Currently I use FP v10.1.102.64 but it doesn't support embedded video playing and it cannot play videos hosted at Facebook. Which application do you suggest?

Adobe has stopped developing flash player for PowerPC. You can still download a PowerPC version from their archives, however my experience was that this version was terribly slow.
If you have flash player installed on your Mac, most websites will auto-detect its existence and only offer you videos in flash, even if that is n awful experience for you. Some people have been fairly successful by deleting flash completely from their mace. Then the websites won't auto-detect it, and will offer the video to your Mac in al alternate format (ex., HTML5, H264, etc.). |

FP v10.1.102.64 is quite slow, but HTML5 Videos play even more slowly when FP's uninstalled.
Actually, HTML5 video is slower on other machines, too such as Thinkpad laptop with WinXP. The speed of HTML5 differs also on browsers. It's a bit faster in Safari 2011 (Version 5.0.6) than Firefox 2012 (v10.0.3) because of the HTML render engine being used, I guess.
