Comcast Activation page and iPad

Please help me! At the suggestion of my dear friends at Comcast, I changed out my modem. IT took several calls to get a fix for the dang activation page on my desk top. Littlke did I know that my iPad would have the same issue! And, of golly gee, the rocket scienctist at Comcast tell me they can't help with that. Please can someone tell me how to get rid of trhe activation page on the iPad so that I can use it again? As it is now, I can't connect to my WiFi so my wife is a bit miffed that she can't get her emails. For the sake of marital harmony - help.
