Lacie Hard Drive permissions problem

My permissions were changed to read only and i can not change them back no matter what i do. I need help its with my Lacie External Drive.

Please start by launching your Terminal with this problematic hard drive connected. Terminal is found in your /Applications/Utilities folder. Now, copy/paste the following commands into Terminal, then copy/paste the entire transcript (everything in your Terminal window) back here for us to see:

ls -alOe /Volumes
diskutil list
df -aH
id
echo "done"


Did you reformat this Lacie drive after you bought it, or is it still using it's original filesystem? Do you need to use this drive with both Macs and computers running Windows or Linux, or is it always used with Macs? Did anything occur just before you noticed that the drive was read-only?
