Fireworks MX crashing

Have recently updated my system from 10.3.9 to 10.4.11 and my copy of Fireworks MX keeps bombing out. It’s just super sensitive and crashes when saving or just moving about a document and clicking any command or change. My copy of Dreamweaver MX has worked a treat with no problems.
I am having to work with Fireworks on my second disk which is running the older system, which is a pain, any thoughts or similar experiences would be muchly appreciated?
Console log as follows:
Fireworks MX(308,0xa000ed88) malloc: *** Deallocation of a pointer not malloced: 0xffffffff; This could be a double free(), or free() called with the middle of an allocated block; Try setting environment variable MallocHelp to see tools to help debug

Hi,

Have you applied the Fireworks MX update 7.0.2 released in 2004 ?. This includes the previous 7.0.1 update which fixed slow downs and crashes with OSX.

Thanks for the help but my version is MX version 6.0.0.273 and not MX2004 (version 7)
