MBPro: 3-Finger Drag "jumping"
Anybody else experiencing jumps when using the 3-finger Drag move on a MacBook Pro trackpad?
For the most part, it works well for gross moves: move a folder a short distance, drag a window. But for highlighting text or fussier moves, I'm noticing it jumping around even though I'm being careful to maintain 3-finger contact...almost as tho the computer interprets part of it as a 2-finger scroll. Any thoughts? thank you! a |

My MacBook Pro is too old for all the new gestures, but I haven't seen similar issues with a Magic Trackpad. I don't know if it is still a present feature, but we could previously reset a trackpad by placing the palm of a hand on it for 3-4 seconds. Can't hurt to try. Failing that, I'd try an SMC reset.
