Can I disable Safari's annoying "realtime" scrolling when I go Page Down?
Old Safari (& other web browsers): I do Page Down and the page contents skips down one screen's worth all in one shot
Safari 5.1.4 (Snow Leopard, new computer): I do Page Down and it thinks it would be cute to draw each line sliding up as if I were using the scroll bars, speeded up. Preferred behavior: the old way Is there either a) a built-in Safari Preference option I just didn't see or b) a downloadable freeware or shareware behavior-modifier to turn this cuteness the hell off? |

There is a global setting at System Preferences > General > Uncheck Use Smooth Scrolling.

In Snow Leopard, that's apparently System Preferences > Appearance rather than System Preferences > General, but yeah, thanks!
