application for creating/editing Invitations ?

I want to create text to match specific heading on stock invitations that have printed headers. So I need the text to line up with the headers to print the invitations.

I have been using Word but it is very difficult to get text lined up with heading, and to create custom invite page settings.

Ideally I would like be able to scan in a pre printed invitation or form and then create input fields.

I want a choice of font style, colors, and sizes.

Any suggestions?
