Find full device path for USB UPS unit
Hi there
Long time listener, first time caller. I am using Network UPS Tools (NUT) in order to utilise my UPS unit with 10.7.3 . It is not supported by the inbuilt energy saver tools. The UPS works with NUT, but as I have set the USB port configuration to auto with NUT, it scans all the USB devices in the iMac which seems to make some of my external USB drives disconnect. So rather than leaving it with an automatic configuration, I'd like to be able to point it directly to the full device path (/dev/whatever) so I can get around this problem. The problem is I have no way of knowing what the device path actually is? System Profiler doesn't reveal anything. NUT doesn't reveal anything either. Any ideas? Thanks
