Opendirectoryd with missing user 305 (getpwuid)

Hi,

I want to share this, because I can't understand, but think it is so extraordinary it actually could be interesting. Whats is going on?

On Lion 10.7.1 i got this error every 0.3 seconds:

com.apple.launchd: (com.apple.launchd.peruser.305[number] getpwuid("305") failed.

I'did not know where to look for the cause of this error. (where launched gets it script at runtime. But I was thinking to give LION what it asked for. A user with UniqueID 305. So I used adcl . -create to create the user. I called it BUG and gave it 305.

What happened next, was that opendirectoryd was running with UiD 305, so it's safe to conclude opendirectoryd was called in by launched.

When i deleted the user with 305, i got the same message all over again.

What I want is to get rid of this getpwuid failed. But I know that Uid below 500 are reserved for the system. So i wanted to do a research and look at google, what name is given to User Unique ID 305.

But surprisingly there is nothing to be found on internet.

This made me believe that that is is very Fishy. Is this a left over from a previous hack in snow leopard? Or is this some problem with the new Lion.

Whatever the case, somehow i'm to stupid to grasp it? Anyone who can point me to the right directions (terminal is no secret for my in can read bash sh).
You insights are really appreciated, and maybe more people have this user in their system without noticing.

Have a look at System Log Queries in the console.app.

What is being discovered here? What is the darwin, lion conventions on user with id 305? Share and I/we will learn.

Just some more toughs; why would opendirectoryd working with an non existent user? UniqueID 305?

It's been silent but, i recently discovered these log lines concerning user 305

Searching in Google, did not help me further, perhaps someone knows, way Mixed credentials means?
