Lock or Unlock A specific system preference via Terminal?

Hello,

Our Mac System Admin has been let go. We are trying to manage our mac side of our network and have run into a snag. We believe he managed a lot of access issues via terminal commands.

Currently our users have several system preferences that are grayed out. We cannot see any reason they should be when looking at their settings on ARD on the server. However, we believe he may have locked these settings via a Unix/Terminal command. Specifically the MobileMe Preference.

Does anyone know, or can you point me in a direction of how I might find these commands so I can unlock them again?

Thanks
