I have been trying to access learning videos for Adobe CS4, specifically Dreamweaver from this url:
http://www.adobe.com/devnet/dreamwea...gettingstarted When I click on the link "What is Dreamweaver?" located under the OVERVIEW heading, Firefox tries to launch the video player, then crashes the browser. The same thing happens with Safari. I've tried this with no other apps running. I've also tried to launch this video through the Help menu through my registered copy of Adobe CS4 (although I don't think this would have anything to do with solving the problem). This is very frustrating, so any help would be greatly appreciated! MacBook Pro OS X 10.5.6 2 GB memory Firefox 3.0.5 Safari 3.2 |

I played it... using Adobe Flash Player version 9... have you checked your version to see if it's up to date? - JamesJM

Adobe Flash Player 9
When I installed Adobe Creative Suite 4 (CS4) it installed Flash Player 10.0 r2
Hmm, not sure what to do now. Maybe I need to get access to more up-to-date training materials? Maybe the adobe site training materials don't support the new CS4 software? I'll look around on the DVDs provided with CS4 for a solution. Thanks for the quick response. UPDATE------------ Looks like I'll have to use a DVD that came with CS4 software and that the Flash Player 9 comes with CS3 software and is what is used on the adobe training web site. Weird that they put a link in the CS4 Help menu to the older CS3 version training because it doesn't work. Again, thanks for the quick response -- you helped me figure out the problem quickly!
