New iphone- Same yellow screen problem

this is an old one but I just got a new replacement 3G tonight (9 January 2009) and whereas the old one was wonderful, this one has the ugly yellow-tinted screen. It's horrible.

I searched and found fixes for older firmware versions, specifically 5A345 and 5A347.

My new phone is set at 5G77 (unless I'm mistaken and not understanding this) so I tried to follow the fix for the version above and it did nothing. The fix I followed was from July.

Does anyone know how to fix this now? Please help- it seems insignificant but it's so annoying.
