Bootcamp: MacBook (Late 2007) drivers for Windows

I've run into a bit of a problem.

I'm going to install Windows Vista on my MacBook. However, my Leopard discs are thrashed, so I cannot install the MacBook drivers from the restore discs.

Does anyone know where I can get the drivers for my MacBook? Or at least, the model name/number of the components used in the MacBook?

TIA.

Have you tried downloading the newest Bootcamp? See this post: http://forum.onmac.net/archive/index.php/t-1237.html

You can't "download" boot camp anymore. It comes standard on all intel Macs with OS X Leopard. The drivers disc, which Boot Camp would make for you, is now your Mac's restore disc.

So, since my restore discs are thrashed, I'm out of luck.

I believe you can get replacement machine-specific install disks from Apple for not much money at all.

Available as a torrent

The 2.1 updater won't work unless you have 2.0 drivers installed first. Do a torrent search for "Boot camp drivers". I downloaded it last night (344MB) and it seems to have worked. I was then able to update to 2.1. Make sure you put it on the PC partition so when you fire up Windows you'll be able to access it.
