I'm using 10.5 server and 10.5 clients
I have created a netinstall and image which I can successfully image to my new Macs. then I have copied the admin(initial user I used to setup the machine) user profile over the top of the user profile for the user that will use the Mac. they are also admins of the machine. sudo CP –R /Users/<default username> /Users/<New username> Changed the properties of the new user profile to be owned by the new user. sudo chown -R <username> /Users/<username> Everything works great except that they are sometimes prompted to access the keychain and they are required to enter the original admin users password for it to work. Does anyone have any ideas on how to get around this?? Also if anyone has any tips on using automator to speed this up to that would be great too. |
