sendmail script?!

Hi All

I am trying to set up a cvs script to run at midnight. I succeesfully got the timer and cvs update running. But now, I would like it to send a mail with a log attachment to me when the script is done.

Two question here.

First: What is the easiest way in OSX 10.2.3 shell script to send a custome make mail message with attachment. Any sample script will be very helpful.

Second: Is there anyway for cvs to get a summary of all changes in the past week? That way I can attach the cvs log into the mail and see what is changed.
