Question Reset/Reinitialize ADB under Tiger possible?

Hello,

Is there a way to reset the ADB in Tiger?

Reason I aks is an old Kensington Turbo Mouse (ADB only) that work OK through an iMate ADB<->USB adaptor. Only that it is dead after the powerbook has been sleeping... After restart it works fine again. I figure that if I reset the ADB somehow after waking up it should also work.

Environment:
PowerBook G4 17", Mac OS X 10.4.8, iMate, USB To ADB Adaptor v3.70

Would there be a not too difficult way to reset the ADB automatically?

Grateful for your brains!
