Creating Smart Folders with Applescript?

Anyone know a way to create a smart folder with simple settings? Say, a variable brought in through an input box as the title and the search value for 'spotlight comments'?

I'm relatively new to Applescript (which is to say I've been vaguely familiar for a long time, but only recently considered delving deeper in), and I've been wondering about ways to automate smart folder creation. The reason is I use a tag system - appending a spotlight comment with automator, keeping a smart folder around to search just on that tag, and having a little piece of geektool output on my desktop to list all of these smart folders so I have a list of tags. This also means I can right-arrow into smart folders in quicksilver, making it very quick to find files in a specific tag.
