Deleted "Send Registration" File - How can I register?

When I first got my Mac I chose to register later, and a "Send Registration" file was created under my user directory. I kept telling myself I would register soon However I was cleaning my space and the file got accidentally deleted. Now I regret not registering. I know there is a way to register online, but are there any benefits to using the "Send Registration" file? I feel like I might have lost something important by deleting it.
